Bookings are still available before we close up, so now is the time to pull the trigger on getting that tattoo you've been thinking of!

All good things come to an end… and after holding out on y’all, it’s time for us to share some news.

Main Street Tattoo will be closing from mid/late May 2026 (exact dates TBC). It’s not a bad breakup — just a new chapter for all of us.

✨ Final bookings are OPEN NOW ✨
If you’ve been thinking “I’ll book soon” this is your sign. Business hours are as usual and we’ve got plenty of space in the New Year for you!

🎟 Vouchers:
All outstanding vouchers will absolutely be honoured until their expiry, but we strongly recommend getting in and using them before the studio closes.

As for what’s next:

Nick & Joanna are heading back to Germany — but don’t panic, they’ll be returning for extended guest spots. Follow their adventures (and future bookings) -

Hey everyone! We wanted to give you a quick heads-up that we will no longer be selling gift vouchers moving forward.
💡 But don’t worry – if you already have a voucher, it’s still 100% valid and can be redeemed as usual. Nothing changes there!
This is just a small behind-the-scenes shift as we streamline a few things on our end. Business is continuing as normal, and we’re still here doing what we love – creating amazing tattoos for all of you.

Just when you thought we were all done with guests, a wild Conor appears!
Conor is based out of the legendary Sacred Tattoo in Auckland, and will only be with us for 2 days so don't hesitate to grab a space with him!!
Conor is one of those artists whose meticulous approach to his drawing results in super dynamic, illustrative tattoos that are catered to you and sure to be unique!

The fourth artist joining us for our Guest Artist Takeover is another new face, the super talented ZEZE!!
Zeze is also working at Electric Ceremony in Tāmaki Makaurau, and will be with us while Solomon is here.
Zeze's delicate, unique approach to fineline tattooing is something you don't want to miss out on!
